Riverside Meadow Wedding // Logan + Jordan
Colorado has been blessing to us with so many beautiful weddings! Last weekend Travis and I both were able to photograph a contemporary country wedding together. There were so many gorgeous yet simple details that really made their day extra special. They had handmade seating at the ceremony, a handmade alter, gold and glass centerpieces, wooden vases, and many other wooden details. I especially loved how they tied in the eucalyptus at their reception to match their ceremony location. Everything was planned and thought out perfectly.
The ceremony was held on Logan’s grandparents property. It was set up beautifully in a small grassy clearing near the river and shaded by many large trees. The ceremony was absolutely perfect! Logan and Jordan exchanged beautiful vows that brought tears to my eyes. It is so clear they are so deeply in love and devoted to one another, I mean look at they way they look at each other! Getting to hear couples exchange vows always reminds me of the love Travis and I share and the commitment we have to one another! We are always so stoked when we get to shoot these weddings together and have a work date!
One of my favorite times of the day is getting to be with the newlywed couple and their best friends for portraits! I make sure to get everything perfect when I am doing my portrait time with my couples! Dresses will be fluffed, hair will get fixed, and I will make sure you look and feel your best! Whatever you need, I will do it! Portrait time is when I most often really get to know my couple and their closest friends. I enjoy getting to think of fun new ways to pose my wedding parties, and I love that they trust me to do whatever creative thing comes to mind. My couples seriously rock!
After the ceremony we headed to the Hugus Building where their reception was being held. The reception hall has so many beautiful, unique details that really gave their photos a beautiful background which created depth and interest. I was in love with all of the wooden shelving that left so many places for them to decorate and just added such rich deep tones and colors to the images. The venue had a perfect mix of light and dark accents to keep things bright enough for natural light photos but dark enough to create the mood and drama we love to shoot so much!
Logan + Jordan had the perfect day surrounded by their loved ones. I am so blessed to get the opportunity to be apart of such a special day for my clients! I cannot thank my clients enough for always trusting in me to create something beautiful and unique for them to cherish forever.
